Forgiven

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones grew old through my groaning all the day long. (Psalm 32:1-3 NKJV)

When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, "Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Mark 2:5-7 NKJV)

Sickness and death entered the world with sin. Health, life, and forgiveness are all blessings of God. It is good to keep short accounts with Him, clearing ourselves with Him quickly. This includes granting forgiveness to those who trespass against us. Healing belongs to the one who is blessed to be forgiven. It also belongs to the one who forgives.

Jesus Christ, Author of life, thank You for the blessing of being forgiven. Thank You for giving us peace with Your Father. Thank You for the health of our souls which You make available each day.
