He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8 NKJV)
I am a citizen of Heaven. I am a member of a royal priesthood. I am a daughter of the King. All the riches of the Kingdom are mine in Christ Jesus my Lord. Yet I am to walk with my God not as an exalted member of royalty, but humbly, as if yet a pauper. I trust my Lord fully, rest in His love, rely on His every promise — yet am to presume nothing. The line between faith and presumption is very fine. The way to stay on the right side of it is to keep in perspective who I am and Who God is.
Father, thank You for purchasing me — a spiritual pauper of the lowest order — and making me Your princess. Please keep me mindful of the favor I’ve been shown.
